Bay Area Discovery Museum and more

...including Easter egg hunting, finding a worm, and Layne's adorable lip-biting.

Cruise has been asking for you.

Jen and Jules

I have two very gorgeous and very talented little sisters. Jen finished her degree at BYU and then jumped into what she loves, which is hair and makeup. She also dabbles in photography, which we all shamelessly take advantage of. Julia is a willing and able subject. Check out these pictures Jen just took of Jules and her roommate after doing their hair and makeup. I think they're so amazing that I had to pick my favorites and put them on here.

Graduation Banquet

This event was just fantastic. It was at the Ritz-Carlton in San Francisco. It was so fun to pretend to be all ritzy. =) It was also super fun to have along Eric's fam, who don't have to pretend. =) We love you guys! Thanks for coming up and sharing this time with us.

Dental Friends

Graduation week was insanity--packing, family in town, fancy dinners, fancy brunches, fancy honors club inductions, graduation, and then moving the next day. I didn't have enough fancy clothes to wear to all the fancy events! So, I went shopping. Just kidding. =) Only a little shopping. It was fun to have such an exciting, glamorous, whirlwind weekend, but the hard part was that when it was all over our friends were gone... just like that. And despite all our final get-togethers and efforts to adequately get enough of each other before leaving each other forever (it feels like!), it just wasn't enough. After the graduation had ended and we walked out for refreshments I looked around at the mass of people and realized that seeing everyone for a final goodbye was never going to happen. We left feeling a little empty but were lucky enough to run into a few of our good friends. After seeing them and feeling the emotion that came along with that I decided maybe it was a good thing we didn't see everyone. We love you and miss you all! We hope all is well with you and will remember you forever. I will always stalk your blogs. =) Thanks for your friendship and camaraderie through the crazy times that were dental school. Especially to my "oral surgery-wives" friends, "night clinic dinner" friends, and neighbors: thanks for keeping me sane. I felt lucky everyday to be your friend! I couldn't say enough about how much I appreciate you! Miss you tons already.

Time flies

I feel like I have been so incredibly busy the past few months. Wrapping up dental school, graduation, vacation at home, moving to Texas--ok let's be honest, that hasn't been the busy part. The busy part has been taking care of these two kids! They make even my usually mundane life hectic. Especially Laynie-Janie. (No, Jane is not one of her names, but Cruise decided to start calling her that occasionally.) She is still what I would confidently call a high-needs girl! So much fun and so amazing, and SO tough sometimes. Blogging has evidently been taking second fiddle. I have a lot of cute pictures to post, so it's going to be a disorganized mish-mash from all the way back to March. Here are the kids during March - June. They're about as silly and as precious as can be.

Sometimes it's nice to be so needed and loved.

Her little black dress.

Daddy's basketball shoes.

He's almost cute enough to be a girl.

First solid food. Little stinker.
