It was amazing to be able to see some of our great dental school friends for dinner during our holiday break! We hope we make it a tradition. The ride home was a different story. Got a flat tire and ended up in skid row. I've never seen so many homeless people or been so afraid. Finally got the tire and rim fixed just enough (by a guy named Castro with a chained and wounded pit bull) to get home by 1 or 2 am.

I'm going to have to play some quick catch-up here. I was made to promise to start blogging again (although it was under duress). The task seemed far too daunting until I decided to post mostly pictures...and a few words here and there.
