Haven Elizabeth Baker

Haven Elizabeth was born a week early on January 14, 2014, at 2:32 am. 7 lbs 5 oz, and 19 inches of pure perfection. We are delighted to have her. She is so fresh from heaven. She is very mild and contented, a great sleeper and big smiler. She's been a dream baby. We love, love, love her.

Just 2 hours old. She had big, open eyes from the very beginning.

I have a picture of McLayne just like this and they look almost identical.

Laynie is the best big sister ever. She helps me every time I change Haven's diaper or clothes. And she's always so sweet to her sister. None of that jealousy thing going on. I'm very relieved.

And Cruise just adores his new baby sister. She's his "favorite" everything. He's very good at watching out for her safety.

Trip home (sans me) for Kelly's wedding

Yay, Kelly andRyan! What a fabulous couple! We are so happy they found each other! I was so sad that I couldn't make it to the wedding (because my due date was too close) but Eric took Cruise and McLayne and they had a blast.

Where did I go while I was all alone? Don't you know me at all? The library. And I got to roam those aisles in complete calm and silence and not haul my pregnant self all over the place chasing kids. Blissful.

The kids even ran into Grandpa Pace who was at the temple taking down Christmas lights. I think he planned that....
